ESG Transparency
Commitee
ESG executives and reporting practitioners from organisations achieving an overall score of at least 70% in the preceding Transparency Award ESG Reporting cycle are formally appointed to the ESG Transparency Committee for the subsequent mandate year.
The Committee functions as an independent, collaborative expert panel that brings together practical reporting perspectives across diverse industries and organisation sizes in Europe.
The primary objective of the ESG Transparency Committee is to provide qualitative practitioner feedback, share cross-industry reporting perspectives, and highlight emerging market trends. Through structured, data-backed surveys, members share insights on subcategory priorities to inform EUPD Research’s annual methodological review of the Transparency Evaluation Standard, maintaining strict governance firewalls to prevent any conflict of interest. Additionally, the Committee establishes a European peer-exchange platform for corporate ESG leaders. Through digital forums, structured surveys, and collaborative discussion papers, members examine shifting regulatory frameworks and promote best practices in corporate transparency.
To guarantee complete evaluation integrity, Committee members have no access to individual participant scoring data, peer evaluation files, or award decision-making. Operating within a compliance-secure governance structure, the Committee ensures that practical market insights from leading European ESG practitioners inform the continuous refinement of the standard without compromising certification impartiality.

I work hands on with ESRS based reporting, climate impact, circular economy initiatives, and value chain transparency. Expertise in this field is constantly evolving, and continuous learning and staying up to date is part of doing this work well. This is the kind of progress the ESG Transparency Committee aims to promote, and I look forward to contributing to it.

I started working on ESG in late 2022, together with the responsibilities I had at that time. In 2023, I was appointed Senior Manager for Sustainability, and ESG became my main responsibility. Currently, the topics I’m focused on are water and energy consumption, but also the circular economy and waste management, together with European environmental legislation revision.

As a computer scientist and software entrepreneur, I therefore want to do everything in my power to ensure that, on the one hand, our company operates in line with ESG principles in a way that is necessary for the planet, its people and its species, so as to safeguard life and not merely survival. On the other hand, I also want to set an example with my companies and ensure that the problems still standing in the way are resolved.
